Meet the Cast
Doug Lieblein
Douglas Danger (yes, Danger is his middle name) Lieblein has been writing and producing half-hour television comedy for over twenty-five years. He worked as a writer/producer on all four seasons of Hannah Montana, and was an intricate part of the creative process for the entire run of the show. Some of his other credits include Life With Boys, Raven's Home, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn, and various other projects for Nickelodeon and The Disney Channel.
Douglas is a multiple Teen Choice Award winner and a four-time Emmy loser. He means, uh, four-time Emmy nominee. Because, you know, it's an honor just to be nominated. Of course, it doesn't feel like much of an honor when they call someone else's name, again, and you have to pretend to be happy and clap and smile like a trained monkey, but he's not bitter, he swears. Besides, that's all in the past. Hey, he’s doing a podcast now. Let's focus on that.
Jason Earles
Growing up the middle of five children, Jason Earles was always looking for a way to stand out and get a little attention. In the 3rd grade he stumbled upon theater, playing Hansel in Hansel and Gretel and acting quickly became his life. While growing up in Oregon and then attending Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, Jason began to hone his craft through class and in professional theater. A few roles include Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Alan Strang in Equus, Feste in Twelfth Night, and Ronnie Shaunnesy in House of Blue Leaves and resulted in multiple Irene Ryan Nominations and runs with the Illustrious Virginia City Players and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.
Earles made the transition to film and television in 2001 and has spent the last 25 year being a successful Actor, Producer, Director and Podcast Host. Best known for his roles as Jackson Stewart on Disney’s record breaking franchise Hannah Montana and Rudy Gillespie in the #1 hit Disney XD show Kickin It, Jason continued his long standing relationship with Disney by working on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (HSMTMTS) as the acting coach and on-set mentor for the cast, as well as playing the recurring role of Dewey Wood. While celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana, Jason launched the podcast Best of Both Our Worlds: The Official, Unofficial Hannah Montana Podcast with his co-hosts Doug Lieblein and Shannon Flynn.
Living in Toluca Lake, Jason enjoys down time with his wife Katie and their cat Zeke. A wanna be world traveler, an avid sports watcher and video game player, possibly the worlds biggest (but shortest) Stray Kids fan, Jason can be found planning his next podcast, convention appearance, Stray Kids concert, or world adventure as he waits to fulfill his ultimate dream…Play the worlds greatest Disney Dad on a Hannah Montana spinoff!
